Abuja – A Legislator, Rep. Tope Olayonu, has urged Christians to learn from Israel’s rich agricultural development, so that more Nigerians could become self-employed.
Olayonu said this in a statement signed by Mr Celestine Ogugua, Head of Media, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja.
According to the statement, the legislator encouraged Christian pilgrims to participate in the skill acquisition programme organised by NCPC in Israel.

He further urged his colleagues to sponsor pilgrims to the holy Land, saying that pilgrimage provided the opportunity for pilgrims to get closer to God and to pray for peace, progress and unity of the country.
“ You will be blessed spiritually and physically after the completion of every pilgrimage.’’
He commended the NCPC for organising the pilgrimage very well by making the exercisey spirituallfulfilling and impactful on Nigerians. (NAN)
