In a powerful message delivered at the ongoing Gospel Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) event in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Pastor (Dr.) William F. Kumuyi, the Convener of the crusade, called upon ministers of the gospel to reflect the transformative power of Christ in their daily lives.

Speaking on the topic ‘Reviving Christ’s Timeless Ministry in the Present-Day Ministers,’ Pastor Kumuyi emphasized the importance of ministers shining as beacons of light through their life-styles.

Addressing a gathering of gospel ministers and circular professionals at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre, Pastor Kumuyi emphasized that the life of a converted believer should be distinctly different from that of a natural man.

He highlighted that while believers possess righteousness, they are also entrusted with the mission to proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus with power.

“We should allow the congregation we are ministering to see Jesus in us,” Pastor Kumuyi urged, stressing the responsibility of ministers to embody the teachings and spirit of Christ.

Furthermore, Pastor Kumuyi encouraged pastors and preachers to remember that Christ came to save sinners and has entrusted the ministry of reconciliation to the present-day believers.

He emphasized the duty of ministers to passionately preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

In his teachings, Pastor Kumuyi emphasized that God would bestow His glorious riches upon His disciples and strengthen them in their inner beings as they follow in His footsteps.

He cautioned against the influence of present-day preachers and theologians who claim that miracles no longer occur.

Following the event, Reverend Dr. Minaibi Dagogo-Jack, the Rivers State Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, expressed his appreciation for the enlightening teachings of Pastor Kumuyi.

He described the gathering as an enriching experience centered on revival and restoration.

“We learned a lot about revival. We learned a lot about restoration. Today’s meeting was awesome,” Reverend Dagogo-Jack commented, urging all ministers of the gospel to attend the final day of the event and be blessed.
