LAGOS – Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), has congratulated Warri Wolves FC for their qualification to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
This is contained in a statement by LMC on Monday.
It said that Wolves qualified by a 2-0 aggregate, having won Dedebit FC of Ethiopia 2-0 in Warri on March 20 and drew 0-0 in Ethiopia on April 5.
The statement said the chairman encouraged other Nigerian clubs in the tournament to improve in their performances.

“As for Enyimba, Kano Pillars and Dolphins, it’s not time for blame games but time for sober reflection and for everyone to put his thinking cap and review what went wrong,” it quoted Dikko as saying.
The statement also quoted the chairman as saying that corrections were needed to be applied in the short and long term to ensure better performances in the future. (NAN)
