Lottery business can create wealth, employment — Operator

PORT HARCOURT – Chief Francois Chidiac, Chief Executive Officer of R and S Lotto, says lottery business has the potential to create wealth and employment for the teeming Nigerian youths.

Chidiac made the assertion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Port Harcourt.

The licensed lottery operator said contrary to other opinions, that his firm had created jobs for more than 8,000 youths in Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi states.

“Youths employed by my firm in these states are doing extremely well.

“Some have bought cars, houses, while others have changed their life patterns because of the money they made in the business,’’ he said.

Chidiac said an operating lotto machine could make a return of more than N720, 000 per annum for the staff using it, stressing that they could earn more if they managed it very well.

“I can also testify that in Enugu, Anambra and Imo states, my staff have been getting married because they are doing well with the lotto machines given to them,’’ he said.

He added that the firm was targeting to employ more than 6,000 youths in its newly opened office in Rivers because lotto business had great potential.

Chidiac also said his firm was planning to open offices in Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states to also provide employment and wealth for Nigerian youths. (NAN)
