ADO-EKITI – Residents of Ekiti have urged the President-elect, retired Gen. General Muhammadu Buhari, to make security his major priority
The residents spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.
Mr Sunday Daramola said that the president-elect should ensure the rescue of the Chibok, Borno, school girls, who were abducted on April 14, 2014.
He also said that the president-elect should put measures in place to prevent a recurrence.
An artisan, Mrs Modupe Ojo, charged the president-elect to ensure that his administration tackles insurgency.
A politician, Adewale Oni, urged the president-elect to use his military experience in tackling the extremist Boko Haram sect.
He said that the major reason why many voted for him was because of the challenge of insecurity in the country.

Oni said that the president-elect should strive hard to ensure that the country remains safe for all residents. (NAN)
