Sango-Ota (Ogun) – A 21-year-old man, Muize Oseni, who allegedly broke into a shop and stole a laptop worth
N186, 000, on Wednesday appeared in an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun.

Oseni, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of burglary and stealing before Chief Magistrate Mathew

The accused committed the offences on May 11 at 11.00 p.m. at No. 25 Gbogboade St., Opposite Oando Filling Station, Ijoko Road,
Ota, according to Police Prosecutor Abdulkareem Mustapha.

Mustapha said the accused, who broke into the shop of the complainant, Mr Korede Olayiwola, was caught by security guards on duty.
“He was caught by some security guards who handed him over to the police.”
The accused, however, denied the charge.
The chief magistrate remanded the accused in prison and ordered that the case file should be sent to the State Director of Public
Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.
