Soldiers have reportedly blocked a major road leading to Governor Yahaya Bello’s hometown in Okenne, Kogi State.

No explanation was given for the blockage.
Later, around 8:15am, the soldiers allowed journalists and election observers to pass.
But another blockage was witnessed at S.J Deluxe Hotel along Okene-Lokoja road.
The Kogi governorship election is underway with the accreditation of voters and with the arrival of electoral officers.

In Ankpa, Idah, Omala and Ofu, the report indicates early arrival of materials.
Similarly, Kabba Bunu, Mopamuro, Yagba East and West LGA is also set as materials arrived early with accreditation about to begin.
