Minister orders contractor to speed up work on Ibeno skills centre

IBENO – Minister of Affairs, Steve Oru, Friday urged  contractors handling Skill Acquisition Centre in Ibeno, Akwa Ibom,  speed pace of work or face . Oru gave the order when he visited the site assess the progress of the work done by the contractor. He said he was not pleased with the level of work done at the centre, adding work the entrance from the gate ought have reached completion stage.

The minister also said the contractor ensure the jobs done measured . Oru further said the Akwa Ibom Skill Acquisition Centre, when completed, was expected train youths in oil and gas, maritime and the information communication technology. He said that the youth would be drawn from the nine oil producing of Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, , , Imo, Ondo, and Rivers equal basis.
