ABUJA – Col. Abdullahi Kudu, the Special Adviser on Security to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has lauded the courage and determination of the security agencies in the territory.
Mr Mohammad Sule, Chief Press Secretary to the minister, said in a statement on Friday that Kudu made the commendation during the “Ember Month” tour to the FCT Area Councils.
It said that the ministry had worked out a new security protocol to ensure that crime and criminalities were eradicated the city.

“In order to ensure that this new security protocol is taken to the desired level envisaged, the security adviser called for synergy, cooperation and understanding amongst security agencies working in the territory,’’ the statement said.
Kudu reiterated the need for information sharing, effective use of intelligence and Response Preparedness amongst all the security agencies.
He added that “harmonising operations where necessary will make the set goals achievable to have a crime free environment.
The adviser urged the security agencies in the FCT to respect the rules of engagement and be obedient to superior authority.
He said the FCT Administration would continue to support all security agencies dwelling in the territory. (NAN)
