‘’The flyovers have immensely curtailed traffic hold-ups especially at the former Silver Jubilee Roundabout,” he said.
Sagir said apart from reducing traffic congestion, the facility had also beautified the city.
Another motorist, Hajiya Maryam Umar, expressed joy at the development, but advised the state government to erect road signs to guide motorists and avoid accidents.
Umar also urged the government to stop cyclists from using the flyover to prevent accidents.
She advised the government to construct more flyovers at some other places including the Kantin Kwari junction and the Gyadi-Gyadi roundabout where motorists faced traffic gridlocks. (NAN)
