Mrs Elechi warns youths against violence

ABAKALIKI – wife of Ebonyi State governor, Mrs Josephine Elechi, has warned youth not to allow themselves to be used to destabilise the society.

Addressing a youth rally organised by her in Abakaliki on Wednesday, Elechi them to shun anti-social behaviours such as cultism and , among others.

According to her, youth constitute about 60 per cent of electorate in country and largely determine those who rule the country.

“You should show good examples of by being of good behaviours at home and in school while always obeying your parents and elders.

“You should also take your studies seriously to gain more knowledge about life which will help in checking examination malpractice and acts affecting our educational system.

“The Ebonyi is doing much in this direction the training of youths in various vocations and skills including the training of 73 of them at the Songhai Farms, Benin Republic,” she said.
