Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode who defected to ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday in Abuja said some of his criticisms of Muhammadu Buhari were misdirected.

former Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) admitted his wrongdoing about his criticisms of Buhari, saying that he didn’t know much of him at that time.

He said it was clear to him that perception he had about President Buhari at that time was wrong, adding that he could work, bridges and unite the country together.

Fani-Kayode said: “A man that I believe would listen to anybody else in past, I was quite wrong on that. With his receptive ears, his reception, and those around him; I have seen that definitely this is a man that one can work with provided you go through the right channels.

Recall that he was formally introduced to President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja by governor of Yobe and Chairman of APC Caretaker Committee, Mai Mala Buni.

Present at meeting with Buhari was also the governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Mohammed Bello Matawalle who Fani-Kayode said was among the three governors, he earlier advised to defect to PDP.
