Abuja {Sundiata Post} – Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has described his house arrest by security operatives as dangerous trend for the survival of democracy.
Ekweremadu said this when members of the senate paid him a solidarity visit in his official residence at Apo legislative quarters.
Recall that the official residence of the Deputy Senate President was on Tuesday morning besieged by the officers of Department of State Security {DSS} who prevented him from attending to plenary.
The senators who defected from APC to PDP on the floor today were in Ekweremadu”s house to register their solidarity.
