The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq had a crucial meeting with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation, Afolabi Imoukhuede who doubles as the Cluster Head of N-Power Scheme.
Hon. Minister said the activities of program which covers prompt payment of stipend to beneficiaries, challenges and solution were discussed with the Cluster Head and his members.
It would be recalled the Minister had earlier announced FG intention to recruit another fresh graduates into the scheme while Batch A beneficiaries whose their 2-year have expired but government still continue paying them since December 2018 when they supposed to exit from the program.
Mr. Imoukhuede reiterated that the N-SIP will continue to focus to unlock sustainable economic opportunities in the Nigeria’s real sector. Exit package will be made available for Batch A as government didn’t plan to send them back to street.
