Kaduna – The Air Officer Commanding, Nigeria Air Force Training Command, AVM Nurudeen Balogun, has reiterated the resolve of the force to provide proficiency training to its personnel, to prepare them effectively for the defence of the country.
Balogun said when he assumed duty at the command in Kaduna that the NAF would not compromise in the training of highly proficient fighting force committed to the protection of Nigeria’s national interest.
He charged the officers and men of the force to put Nigeria first in all their dealings, adding that they must be professional and thorough in carrying out their duties.
Balogun solicited for maximum support to achieve success during his tour of duty at the command.
Earlier, the former commandant, AVM Wakil Ahmad, stressed the need for the personnel to be disciplined at all times in line with their professional calling.
He commended the media for its support to the command during his nine months tenure, and solicited for similar cooperation to his successor.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report that Ahmad was redeployed to NAF Headquarters as Director of Policy.(NAN)
