Olusola further stated, “My administration will focus on repositioning NANS to be truly student-centered, proactive, and impactful… Our top priorities will include education, student welfare, and the protection of students’ rights.”
Additionally, the new leadership aims to enhance learning standards, improve education quality, and create job opportunities for graduates by partnering with the government and the private sector. They also plan to reform and strengthen NELFUND to improve students’ access to education financing and post-graduation support.
The peaceful conduct of this election has been celebrated as a milestone in NANS’ history, setting a new benchmark for democratic transitions in the student body. Former student leaders and other stakeholders praised the electoral process and urged the newly elected executives to work with unity and dedication for the benefit of Nigerian students.
