Kano – Alhaji Alkassim Bataiya, the National Chairman, National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) has advised members of the association to ensure strict adherence to traffic rules and regulations.

Bataiya gave the advice on Thursday in Kano at the inauguration of the newly elected executives of Kano state chapter of the association.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the members were elected by consensus to run the affairs of association for the next four years.
The chairman stressed the need for members to be steadfast on observing the rules and regulations governing road usage.
He decried the deplorable condition of the nation’s roads and called for urgent rehabilitation, stressing that the transport sector have pivotal role to play to to boost the nation’s economy.
In his remarks, the new chairman of the association in the state, Alhaji Sani Danfulani pledged to run an open door policy to give members a sense of belonging.
He appealed to members of the association to give the new executive the necessary support and cooperation to achieve the desired objective. (NAN)
