NASARAWA (Sundiata Post) – Nasarawa State House of Assemblyman Onarigu Kana has commenced the rehabilitation of a 25km road in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.
Kana, member representing Udege/Loko constituency in the state legislature, said this on Tuesday at the Ondah-Kana-Apawu road project site.
The lawmaker said the aim was to ease off transportation of farm produce and enhance socio-economic wellbeing of the benefitting communities.
Kana, while tconducting journalists through the road, assured of his continued determination to always put smiles on the faces of his constituents.
He said the road rehabilitation would boost socio-economic activities and improve the standard of living of the people of the area and its environs.
“It will also boost agricultural activities and improve the income of our people,” he said.
The lawmaker assured the people of more democratic dividends for the overall development of the area.
“By God’s grace, I will continue to initiate good projects and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of my constituents.
“The aim is to improve on the standard of living of the people,” he said.
Kana however called on his constituents to continue to support him and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
He assured of effective and sound representation at the state legislature.
The lawmaker also urged them and other people of the state to continue to live in peace, unity and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations. (NAN)
