LAGOS – The Nigerian Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA) on Wednesday said it had concluded arrangement to setup a Technical Commission Committee to further promote the sport in the country.
The association’s secretary, Kehinde Laniyan, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the committee would be saddled with the responsibility of all technical and national activities in the sport.
Laniyan said that the NBSA board had given its nod to the names of members that would make up the committee.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
“In a bid to further promote baseball and softball in Nigeria, the national executive committee of the NBSA is working towards establishing a technical commission of the body.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
“The commission will be in charge of the full exposition of all technical and national activities which will include competitions, international championships, training courses for coaches, scorers and umpires.
“NBSA has already drawn up a list of competent individuals that will be members of the committee and Victor Fingesi, the president of the association has approved the list.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

“We strongly believe the committee will do a great job,’’ he said.
The scribe added that board would continue to adopt measures that would foster the growth of the sport. (NAN)
