The new report of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has unveiled that the telecommunication network, 9mobile has the highest porters with 10,964 in the month of June.
The telco is closely followed by the Airtel with about 9,142 incoming subscribers while MTN added 2,667 whereas Globacom had the lowest gain with just 286.
On the outgoing end, Airtel led the chart of outgoing subscribers as 8,891 subscribers ported from the mobile operator.
Airtel was followed by Globacom with 7,234 subscribers lost while MTN also lost 3,842 subscribers. 9mobile was the least with just 2,858 subscribers lost.
Also, the broadband penetration in the country rose to 41.27 percent in the month of April therebygaining 1.13 percent in a month. The number of 3G and 4G subscribers also rose from 76,618,992 to 78,784,226 in June.
