The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has reminded all licensees of their obligation to update changes in their contact information within seven days, as stipulated by the Licensing Regulations 2019.
This update is essential for ensuring effective regulatory oversight and maintaining smooth communication between the Commission and its licensees.
In a statement signed by Reuben Muoka, the Director of Public Affairs, the NCC emphasized the importance of adhering to this directive and outlined the specific details licensees are required to update:
– Physical addressof the principal place of business, including postcode, geographic coordinates, and landmarks.
– Mailing address, if different from the physical address.
– Email addresses.
– Telephone numbers.
– Names and details of contact personnel.
Licensees are instructed to make these updates through the NCC’s eServices platform at [https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng](https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng) on or before January 9, 2025.
The Commission also warned that “appropriate sanctions will be applied in cases where physical address submitted by the licensee cannot be located.”
