Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The latest update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has revealed that 150 new cases of #COVID19 were confirmed in Nigeria on Thursday.
This was contained in the report released last night by the NCDC via it’s twitter handle.
According to the report, the total confirmed cases have increased to 62,521 while 58,249 cases have been discharged from various isolation centres across the country after recovery.
The health agency also reported with regret that 1,141 lives have been lost to the novel virus since the index case was reported on 27th February 2020.
The NCDC further stated that Lagos State, the epicentre of the infection recorded more than half of the newly confirmed cases on Thursday as follows:

Similarly, the NCDC attached a schedule showing state by state breakdown of total confirmed cases thus:
