Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 341 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases to 155,417.
According to the report released via it’s twitter handle account late Saturday night, the NCDC said the fresh cases were recorded from 21 states including the FCT as follows:
Lagos-96; Rivers-41; Kaduna-33; Edo-21;
Osun-20; Akwa Ibom and FCT-17 each;
Ondo-15; Gombe and Kano-11 each and Imo-10.
Other states where the new cases were recorded are: Ekiti and Kebbi-9 each; Kwara and Oyo-8 each; Borno-6; Enugu and Plateau-3 each; Delta, Niger and Ogun-1 each.
The health agency further informed that
133,256 patients have been discharged from across the various isolation facilities in the country.
It added regrettably, that 1,905 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 27 last year.
