Kaduna – The new Controller, Zone B Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Aminu Dahiru, has assumed duty in Kaduna on Monday.
Dahiru, formerly in charge of the FCT command, takes over as Zonal Coordinator, according to a statement by the command’s spokesman, Ado Idris issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna.
He replaces ACG Mohammed Abubakar who retired after 35 years of meritorious service to the nation.
The new zonal coordinator is a 1987 graduate of the University of Sokoto and joined the Customs service in 1992.
He had worked in various commands including the NCS headquarters as Controller in charge of Investigation.
Dahiru, an Acting Assistant Controller General, promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new posting.
