Kaduna – The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna on Monday donated another round of hand sanitizers to the Kaduna State Government as well as some military formations within the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report that many cartons of the sanitizers were also donated to the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria, 44 Army Reference Hospital and 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Kaduna.
The Academy Registrar, Brig-Gen. Ayoola Abaoba, handed over the sanitizers to Mr Mohammed Umar, the Permanent Secretary, General Services, at the Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kaduna.
Abaoba said the gesture was part of NDA’s civil/military cooperation outreach to its host state.
Abaoba noted that the fresh donation was necessitated by the academy’s desire to support the state during this trying period of COVID-19 pandemic.
The permanent secretary expressed the state government’s appreciation to NDA for the gesture and noted that it had always identified with the state government whenever the need arose.
