Gusau- The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Zamfara on Thursday said it would train 50 women in shoes and bags making.
The Co-ordinator of the directorate, Alhaji Muhammad Alhassan, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gusau.
Alhassan said selected women would be trained on how to use Aso-oke and Adire materials to make shoes and bags for ladies.
According to him, the training will empower women left behind in socio-economic aspect of life.
“The training will begin on Jan. 19, and arrangements for the event have been put in place,” he said. (NAN)
