LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – The Ndigbo All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, has extended its condolences to the party’s state Chairman, Mr Cornelius Ojelabi, on the passing of his wife.
Mrs Ebunoluwa Ojelabi, wife of the Lagos state APC chairman, reportedly passed away on Monday.
Ndigbo APC Deputy leader in Lagos state, Sir Jude Idimogu, in a statement on Wednesday in Lagos, described her sudden death as heartbreaking.
Idimogu, a former two-term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, calling it painful.
“Your wife must have stood by you through thick and thin over the years,” he said.
“At this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the family of our party’s state chairman and the entire Ojelabi family.
“The loss of a beloved spouse or any loved one is always painful and heartbreaking. We take this moment to commiserate with our party chairman over this tragic loss.
“We pray that God grants the family and the APC the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Our condolences go to you, your family, and the entire Lagos APC,” Idimogu added.(NAN)
