New CG, Federal Fire Service to be decorated on Wednesday –PRO

Abuja- Mr Olatunde Obisesan, Public Relations Officer(PRO), Federal Fire Service (FFS), said the new Controller-General of the service, Mr Joseph Anebi, would be decorated on Wednesday by the Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro.

Obisesan said this on Tuesday during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
According to him, the event would be held at the Interior Ministry by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

“The new Controller-General will be decorated on Wednesday along with his Nigeria Prisons Service counterpart, Dr Peter
Ekpendu, by the Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro, at the ministry,” he said.

NAN recalls that Anebi was appointed as the new Controller-General of the agency in a letter signed by President Goodluck Jonathan, dated Dec.4, 2014.

Anebi was the controller in charge of Logistics at the headquarters of the agency before taking over from Mr Ademola Jolaoso, who acted as the Controller-General for four months. (NAN)
