Abuja- The first batch of Chairmen of Football Associations of States in Nigeria will leave Nigeria on Dec. 3 for a 4-day leadership training programme in the United Kingdom.
The first part of the programme is scheduled to hold in Londaon from Dec. 4 to Dec. 7, while the second part would hold in January 2016.
A statement issued by Ademola Olajire, Assistant Director of Communications, NFF, said the training is for long-term development of Nigeria football at the grassroots.
It said that a paper on “Identifying Boundaries,’’ would be co-presented by George Dorling, Chairman, London FA and David James, County Development Manager of London FA.
It listed the resource persons at the programme to include former vice chairman of Premiership leading club, Arsenal FC, Mr David Dein and Mr Greg Dyke, Chairman of The Football Association.
Dyke would present a paper on “Leadership – Strategies and the Workings of the FA’’ while Dein would talk on “Building a Brand.’’
The statement stated that there would be a presentation by Grassroots Football England on `Talent Identification and Nurturing at Grassroots Level’ and `Marketing Apparel as a potential tool for revenue generation at grassroots level.’

“There will be a visit to FA Centre of Excellence at St Georges Park and Watford Football Club ground,’’ the statement added. (NAN)
