NFF eulogises Nigeria Referees Association

Football Federation has praised swift action by its Referees Committee and Referees Association against Referee John Charles and Assistant Referee Ogunta Matador for very performance in a Glo Premier League Week 4 match between Sunshine Stars and Dolphins FC in Akure Sunday.

NFF’s Acting , Mr. Seyi Akinwunmi, commended quick move by Referees Committee, headed by another member NFF Committee Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, in suspending the officials for the rest the current football season.

NFF is thoroughly impressed with swift action Referees Committee. I to say that the Committee has acted very much in line with the vision of the present NFF administration to bring about change in every aspect of our football.

“I must also commend the League Company for efforts at engendering a new way of doing things, and genuine steps to address so many flaws in the domestic game. We all have to work together to bring back the glory days of our domestic game.”
