The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday formally ratified the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Sanusi as the General Secretary of the Federation.
At a meeting in Uyo, NFF President Amaju Pinnick presented Sanusi before the executive board for formal endorsement. The former NFF Director of Competitions, who had been appointed following the resignation of Barrister Musa Amadu on March 18, was unanimously endorsed.

Also the sitting president of Nigeria Colleges of Education Games Association and a member of several local and international bodies on sports management, Sanusi has tremendous experience in sports administration through active roles in FIFA World Youth Championship Nigeria 1999, Ghana/Nigeria 2000 and 2003 All-Africa Games organizing committees, and had been in charge of NFF’s Competitions Department for the past eight years.
