Abuja – Mr Nnamdi Okpara , the National coordinator, Mater Dei Communication Center, an NGO, said on Friday that with concerted efforts from the citizenry the nation would overcome moral decadence.
Okpara said this in a statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja as part of activities to mark the organisation’s 14th anniversary.
“With persuasion, sensitisation and encouragement, we are winning the war against moral decadence in our society.
“This is evident in the lives of average Nigerians. However, we are still a long way off target,” he said.
He said as part of the events to mark the 14th anniversary, the NGO would hold a morality awareness rally.
He said there would also be the presentation of moral handbook on Dec. 12. (NAN)
