Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Nigeria on Thursday confirmed 131 new cases of COVID-19 infections, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said.
The latest cases brought the total confirmed cases to 56,735 and out of which 48,092 Patient have been treated and discharged from across various isolation centres across the country.
This was contained in the report released by the NCDC via it’s twitter handle account.
The NCDC added that the management of the novel virus pandemic has not been without casualties, adding that 1,093 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications.
The health agency revealed that the latest 131 cases recorded from 18 States of the federation and FCT are as follows:
