ABUJA (Sundiata Post) If you understand details of the PIGB that Buhari refused to assent to would have done to save our oil industry from rapacious buccaneers, you would weep for Mother Nigeria.
It would have EFFECTIVELY taken governmental bureaucracy off our oil and gas management, increase private sector involvement and boost local content.
Now, the president was advised by his henchmen that it would whittle his powers and give greater say to technocrats and private sector operators.
Above all, those who have been feeding fat on the daylight robbery in NNPC are having the last laugh again. Northerners have always frustrated the original PIB and now they have their way again with the revised PIGB.
Where is the change?
