Abuja (Sundiata Post) – A former National President, Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (YOWICAN), and Co-Chairman of the Interfaith Coalition Conference, Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has rejoiced with the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina, on his 65th birthday.
Kadzai, in a statement issued on Thursday, joined Adesina’s family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating a lifetime of service, dedication to just causes, and visionary leadership.
He praised the AfDB President for being a respected leader and good manager of human and material resources.
Kadzai acknowledged Adesina’s invaluable contributions, as a former Nigerian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, saying he was an outstanding Minister who grew the country’s GDP through farm produce and grassroot development initiatives.
“As a former Minister he mobilised other Ministers to deliver on the Nigerian project, address national challenges and implement policies that promote good governance and progress for all Nigerians.
“I believe the Nigerian people are proud to have a man who is committed to improving the quality of life of the people in whatever sector he found himself, both locally and internationally, through investments in economic and human capital development, prioritising education, healthcare, agriculture, and social welfare initiatives.
“He has distinguished himself as the head of the international organisation”, he said.
The Scribe-man also said Adesina is a good ambassador not only to Nigeria but to Africa, adding that he has brought more development to the African continent as the President of the African Development Bank.
“On this occasion of your 65th birthday, I wish you good health and a long life. I pray that God will give you more strength as you continue to render more service to humanity in the global world”, Kadzai said.
