Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed 180 new cases of #COVID-19 in the country.
Releasing the report via it’s twitter handle late Wednesday night, the health agency said that Lagos State recorded 74 cases to come first on the table followed by Oyo with 41 cases.
The FCT and Kaduna came third with 19 cases each. Others are Bauchi-12, Ogun-7,
Rivers-4, Cross River and Edo-2 each.
The new cases brought the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 64,516 out of which
60,737 had been discharged.
It added that 1,162 deaths have been recorded since the index case was reported in February.
