Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Nigeria Wednesday recorded 1,861 new cases of COVID-19, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.
The announcement was contained in a report released by the NCDC via its twitter handle account late last night.
According to the health agency, the fresh infections were recorded from the underlisted states including the FCT:
Lagos-773; FCT-285; Oyo-138; Rivers-111;
Plateau-92; Nasarawa-83; Kaduna-59;
Enugu and Imo-57 each; Edo-43; Kano-27 and Kwara-20.
Others are: Ebonyi-19, Abia-17, Ogun and
Osun-12 each; Katsina-8; Bayelsa-6;
Bauchi and Delta-5 each; Borno and Jigawa-4 each and Zamfara-1.
