ABUJA (SundiataPost) – Nigeria on Saturday night reported 553 new cases of COVID19, the highest daily record since the index case in Lagos in February.
This takes Nigeria’s total record of the virus infection to 9,855, according to update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night.
As has become the pattern, Lagos has the highest number of new cases. It reported 378 new cases. It is followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 52 new cases.
