Abuja (Sundiata Post) – A former National President, Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (YOWICAN) and Co-Chairman of the Interfaith Coalition Conference, Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, assuring that the current challenges faced will soon be over.
Congratulating Nigerians, Kadzai salutes the courage of his countrymen to adapt to any situation, adding that if what is going on in the country happens to another nation, it would go into flames.
He said Nigerians are gradually coming to terms with the current economic realities occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy, assuring that Tinubu will use the gains of the subsidy to better the country.
In a statement he personally signed, Kadzai also stressed the significance of unity, love, and peaceful coexistence for the progress and stability of the Nation.
“As we celebrate our 64th Independence Day Anniversary, we must remember the sacrifices made by our founding fathers: Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Ahmadu Bello, and Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa amongst others. Let us recommit ourselves to the ideals they stood for: national unity, peace, justice, and tolerance,” Kadzai said.
He also did not forget to acknowledge President Tinubu’s administration for its ongoing efforts to revive the Nation’s economy, highlighting several initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth and stability and continued to urge Nigerians to exercise patience as the policies take off.
In light of recent calls for protests scheduled to hold on October 1st, he appealed to Nigerians to shun actions that could disrupt the peace and stability of the country, begging everyone to focus on dialogue as a means of addressing grievances.
“Let us celebrate this day with pride and hope for a better Nigeria. I urge all Nigerians to exercise patience and give the current administration time to implement its reforms. Together, we can build a nation that works for everyone,” he stated.
