The Nigerian girl, Busari Peace, put up for sale by a Lebanese national, Wael Jerro, has been rescued and is now with the Nigerian Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon.
Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Director-General of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission, made the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday.
