Sundiata Post – A Nigerian travel content creator, Pelumi Nubi, driving from London to Lagos, has had a car accident.
On Tuesday, Pelumi took to her Instagram account to share a photo of the car she had been driving during her journey, now wrecked. The front of the car was severely twisted, and the windshield was shattered. Additionally, a video showed her being transported in an ambulance.
According to the caption, “Say a prayer for me”.
Nubi traveled in a purple Peugeot 107. The car was customized with amenities that will allow for sleeping and dining.
It is unclear, however, where the country she was in at the time of the accident and what caused the incident.
In November, Nubi planned a solo travel from London to Lagos.
She commenced the trip on January 30.
Initially, Pelumi stated that she would arrive in Lagos on March 23.
However, she stated that the date had been rescheduled owing to border complications she was encountering in several countries.
Pelumi Nubi also revealed that she was denied admission at the Sierra Leone and Liberian borders.
