A Nigerian student from Anambra State, Ms. Amarachukwu Akwuobi, 11-year-old Standard 6 student of Ladyswell International School in Dublin, Ireland, has won the Irish Prime Minister’s School Writing Competition.
Ms. Akwuobi, whose family lives in Ireland, hails from Aguleri, in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State. She is the daughter of Dr. Jossy Akwuobi, PhD, based in Ireland, from Igboezunu village in Aguleri, Anambra State. Recall that the Most Reverend Cyprain Iwene Tabansi, hailed from Igboezunu village, in Aguleri, Anambra state.
The Irish Prime Minister’s school writing competition is a prestigious competition involving all school children with writing prowess, across the nation of Ireland. The perks of winning the competition includes; meeting with the Irish PM over dinner and a cash prize of €25,000.
