ABUJA (Sundiata Post) The Federal Government has suspended the National Carrier, Nigeria Air, procurement indefinitely.
The Minister of State Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja while briefing newsmen.
He said the federal government took the decision to suspend the procurement of Nigeria Air at the federal executive council meeting.
Sirika who also tweeted the decision didn’t give any specific reasons for the suspension.
The FG had already paid billions of naira to foreign consultants to advise her on the project, and that might just be the only little detail known to the public about the project.
Meanwhile Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to the not so shocking announcement.
Many of them are saying that the announcement is a confirmation of what they have always suspected.
