Abuja- The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) on Friday predicted sunny and hazy conditions during the early morning hours in the central states of the country on Saturday.
This is contained in a Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) in Abuja.
It stated that dust haze condition was expected in the area later in the day with localised visibility of less than 1000m
According to NiMet, when a region is expected to experience sunny and hazy conditions, it implies that there will be less moisture in the atmosphere.
The statement stated that the southern coastal areas would experience localised rain showers in the afternoon and evening hours in some places.
“Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the inland area.’’
NiMet also predicted that the northern states would experience dust haze condition in the morning and afternoon hours with visibility of two to three km and localised visibility of less than 1000m.
Sunny condition means that the region will experience intense sun, the statement stated. (NAN)
