ABUJA – The Federal High Court, Abuja has adjourned the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to November 10th.
Kanu had pleaded not guilty to the amended seven-count charges preferred against him by the Federal Government.
Kanu, who was re-arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja said he was innocent of all the allegations leveled against him by the Federal Government after the charge was read to him in the open court.
His re-arraignment came on a day the Department of State Services (DSS) had barred journalists from covering the trial.
Mazi Kanu was driven away by the SSS from the courtroom, and he will remain in custody until the next hearing date.
