Enugu – Ebere Amaraizu, Team Manager, Crime Busters FC of Enugu, said on Saturday that the club had completed preparation towards a successful outing in the 2015/2016 National Nationwide League (NNL-1).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 2015/2016 NNL-1 season will commence nationwide at the various stadia on Friday, June 3.
Amaraizu told NAN in Enugu that the club had already mapped out technical and tactical finishing touches for a success season.
According to Amaraizu, Crime Busters, otherwise known as police team had secured the services of two excellent strikers – Adimorah Eze and Obinna Eze.
“To this end, the team shall be embarking on another friendly build up match against local rival, INGAS FC at the main bowl of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday.
“The match will be used to assess those that will be finally retained by the team for the onerous task ahead as well as those that will be dropped,’’ he said.
NAN reports that the police team, had on May 25 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu defeated another local rival, hard fighting Trans Ambassadors FC 2-1 in a build-up match. (NAN)
