Notorious bandits commander, Daudawa, others, repent, surrender weapons, pledge with Quran

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Anotorious commander bandits known as Auwalun Daudawa from Gidan Jaja on Monday repented and surrendered group’s weapons to Zamfara State Government.

Daudawa and members group also took an oath to stop banditry and embrace peace accord instituted by Bello Matawalle to end decade- banditry in state.

They were received at the Government House in Gusau, the state capital, in the presence some rulers and Islamic clerics who took turns to counsel them as their weapons were handed over to the Command.

They surrendered 20 AK 47 rifles, 1 RPG, 1 PKT, 20 magazines and 72 live ammunition.
