Dutse – The Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said on Tuesday that it had arrested two suspects for alleged theft of bricks.
The state Commandant of the Corps, Malam Muhammad Gidado, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse.
Gidado said one of the suspects was arrested for allegedly stealing unspecified number of bricks at Gandun-Sarki quarters in Malam-Madori Local Government Area.
He said the suspect was arrested with stolen bricks by men of the command operating in the area.
According to him, the other suspect, Malam Adamu, was arrested for allegedly buying the stolen bricks from the suspect.

“Our men operating at Gandun-Sarki quarters in Malam-Madori Local Government Area arrested the suspect with the stolen bricks,’’ he said.
Gidado, however, said the suspect who bought the bricks claimed he did not know they were stolen.
He said the suspects would soon be charged to court. (NAN)
