Abuja – The Commandant-General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr Abdullahi Muhammadu, says the Corps is committed to efficient service delivery in line with the Federal Government’s SERVICOM policy.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Corps spokesperson, Emmanuel Okeh, on Monday in Abuja.
The NSCDC boss made the assertion during a visit by the Acting National Coordinator, SERVICOM Presidency, Nnenna Akajemeli in his office.
Muhammadu said that the NSCDC would continue to be SERVICOM compliant, especially, as regards providing security services to Nigerians despite the risks involved.
The statement also quoted cient service delivery in the agency.
Akajemeli, in her remarks, noted that the Civil Service was undergoing changes in order to serve the people better, emphasising that Servicom was all about serving the people well.
She highlighted the importance of efficient institutions are in the society and, therefore, called on MDAs to be more efficient in their service delivery.
She also emphasised the need for proper information dissemination from service providers to their customers and the need to promptly address complaints of customers. (NAN)
