Dutse – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa has said that it arrested a 23-year-old man for alleged motorcycle theft.
The NSCDC Commandant in the state, Mr Muhammad Gidado, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Tuesday.
Gidado said that the suspect, a resident of Gamayin village in Kafin-Hausa Local Government Area was arrested at Kaban village, in Auyo Local Government Area with the stolen motorcycle.

He said one Usman Hussaini had complained that his Haojeu motorcycle and Gionee cell phone were stolen by suspected thief on Aug. 8 at about 3:30 a.m. at Khandahar Quarters, Hadejia.
The commandant told NAN that investigation revealed that the motorcycle belonged to Hussaini.
He said the suspect told the NSCDC operatives that he bought the stolen motorcycle in Kila village in Gwaram Local Government Area at the rate of N93,000.
Gidado said the suspect claimed that he deposit N83,000 and entered an agreement to pay the balance of 10,000 later.
He said the suspect would soon be charged to court. (NAN)
